UPDATE.. ON OUR EXCITING NEWS... this is a update on the superwalmart store coming to the dalles or.area.. our town had the final meeting on monday evening,and the vote went through to start building our new store,which is going in just down the street from our home. along with a target and cosco i heard.. we also gave a albertson's that went out last fall,and i've heard that winco is suppost to go there also.so hopefully the job market will improve here alot. they have a couple of issues like the railroad tracks,and extra traffic,but they are trying to figure a way to correct that matter.,i've heard maybe a overpass over the rr,and stop lights on our corner, and they are talking about a bike trail on this back road also.they have been cleaning the grounds for a few months now,and they are gonna start ground breaking soon,so we'll see how long,before we notice some changes. it will be nice not to have to travel 50 miles to walmart to shop,we also have to go to portland for any big shopping..which is 1.5 hrs away..we only have fred meyers and safeway here for groc,and k mart for other things,beside a dollar tree.that is about the only big shopping here.no special activitys besides a moviehouse.. i'll update on the progress ,as it comes.. and by the way my daffidiles are in bloom now,i'm hopeing they don't get a freeze and ruin their lovely blooms.
